Downtown Development Authority Board
The Chesaning Downtown Development Authority (DDA) was formed in 1986 with a mission to assist in the enhancement and revitalization of the downtown district. The DDA works to serve, strengthen, and support local businesses by creating and implementing a developmental plan promoting economic growth, and encourage new business opportunities within the Village of Chesaning. They also strive to encourage preservation and restoration of historically significant buildings in the downtown and surrounding area.
The DDA works closely with the Village Council and the Chesaning Chamber of Commerce to promote community activities that assist the downtown property and businesses owners in developing a viable downtown for the citizens of Chesaning.
The DDA meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 6:00 PM in the Village Council Chambers.
